Question?
R is a hapolgroup, R1 is defined by a mutation of a SNP so is a clade? R1b has another mutation of a SNP so is it a subclade because it is descended from or changed from R1?

I really liked your explanation, and if this seems like a dumb question..no question is dumb, just the way they are asked, may seem so....
