Hello, I got my 23andme.com results back end of December 2008. How do I take the results and make sense of them. Is there a formula/chart that can help a novice plot and understand the results?
Many thanks,
Dario Musso

Since they changed procedures a while back Bob, heterozygous calls are now
"no call". If you look at Adriano's spreadsheet you will see that every
single person in every other haplogroup has a call for L2/S139 and that is
CC. CC is ancestral for L2. You will see some CC among the U152 dataset.
Virtually all have cross validation via other companies that their "no call"
(really hetero) reflects a difficulty with the T allele at this site and so
I will officially proclaim you to be L2/S139 derived (my confidence being
bolstered by knowing that you tested postive with FTDNA and EA). The other
SNP of interest is L20/S144 and you will be ancestral here. Myself and a
handful of others are the only L20+ folk from 23andme, and a few more via
FTDNA testing, all of which is shown in my database, recently updated, at
http://www.davidkfaux.org/R1b1c10_Data.htm.
