The mutation could be between you & your father... You don't know where it occured. I'd certainly look for a link! Don't be driven only be statistics.

I recently matched 11 out of 12 with a person of the same name and origins
in the same general locale.
I'm wondering what the probability is that we're related. 12 out of 12 with
the same name is about 99.9% probable. FTDNA has a statement on their site
that 11 out of 12 is still a high probability, but they don't provide a
figure.
Anybody know?
