The members of the ht35 project have shown considerable dedication to
SNP testing this year, with more than 60% of our members having
ordered some form of "complete" SNP testing (i.e. DeepClade, Advanced
Orders, or 23andMe).

Thirty-four members have received enough of their results to fully
resolve their placement on the current ISOGG tree. I remind you that
our project is for M269+ P312- U106- Y-participants. The breakdown is :

L23- L51- L11- = 8 (24%)
L23+ L51- L11-= 11 (32%)
L23+ L51+ L11- = 3 (9%)
L23+ L51+ L11+ = 12 (35%)

I further sorted the participants by geo-political location into four
groups. I have too few to split the results into a 4x4 matrix, so
here they are by percentage in each area that are L51-:

Northwestern Europe (n=13): 31% L51-
Southeastern Europe (n=10): 80% L51-
Asia (n=5, including 1 Algerian of Arabian descent): 80% L51-
Unknown Origin(n=6): 50% L51-

When our other two dozen or so results are done we should be able to
add some finer resolution to this picture, but I think we can already
clearly see even within this P312- U106- crowd a frequency cline
across Europe.
