Hello List,

I have read this recently :

" A recent paper "A genome-wide genetic signature of Jewish ancestry ...,
Genome Biology 2009 " states that the majority of subjects with no Jewish
ancestry that are likely to be classified as Askhenazi by genetic analyses
are of either Italian or Eastern Mediterranean descent."

Does any list member have more information on this ?
