Dear Phil,
Take a look at the various subclades of R-U198 at
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/U198/default.aspx?section=yresults and
R-L1 (null 439) at
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/null439/default.aspx?section=yresults.
"Superfamily a", "14-14 group", "type g node", "regular type r" and "cluster
1 and cluster2" are names that were chosen by those projects'
administrators.
Sincerely,
Tim

Tim Janzen,
I have been following with interest your recent calculations of TMRCA for
R1b. However, today you lost me with your mention of "superfamily a",
"14-14 group", "type g node", "regular type r" and "cluster 1 and cluster
2". These terms do not appear on my copy of the SNP mutation tree for R1b
and are unfamiliar to me. Do you have a simple explanation or a reference
where I can learn the meaning of these terms?
Phil Buckley
