I posted this to the ISGG list yesterday, but those who aren’t members of that list might be interested in the content.  If you have been thinking about ordering a kit from 23andMe, I have a code for a substantial discount that I would be happy to give anyone who will use it.  I have started a surname project at 23andMe, and the code they gave me is good for a discount on 50 kits.  I doubt I can use that many in my project, so I would be happy to help anyone who is interested in ordering a kit from 23andMe.  Of course, I can't guarantee the discount won't be exhausted before someone places the order, but 23andMe has told me they will give me more discounts if I use them.  The code has a short expiration date (order must be placed by September 30, 2009, and the kit must be sent back to the lab before October 30, 2009).  The discount is for the full version of 23andMe.  23andMe asked me not to post the amount of the discount (and we can't
