Subject: [DNA] FTDNA GAP - how to suppress people on maps
Date: Wed, 4 Nov 2009 17:26:09 -0500

I run a regional project where people can join based on either their Y-DNA or
mtDNA, or both. When someone is eligible to be in the project based only on
their Y-DNA or mtDNA, I need to suppress the test results that don't qualify for
the project. I'm able to do this in the Results table by checking or
un-checking the checkboxes for YDNA and mtDNA on the Member List of my GAP. The
problem is, with the new web design, it no longer suppresses these individuals
from the map. I find this aggravating because balloons appear all over the map,
outside the region of the project. I'm very strict about including only people
from the region in the project, so it looks like I've relaxed the restriction
and am allowing just anyone to join.

How can I suppress these ineligible results from the maps?

Diana
