Using FTDNA nomenclature, my results with mtDNA are as follows:

HVR1 mutations: 16129A, 16316G, 16519C

HVR2 mutations: 263G, 315.1C

CR mutations: 750G, 1438G, 4769G, 5460A, 8860G, 11719A, 15326G

So far, no matches for full sequence. No enormous surprise there, but it would have been nice. :) (Go get yerselves tested, you lazy loafers!)

I don't know enough about how DNA mutates, but the mutations do seem very... structured. With the exception of the one insert, A replaces G, G replaces A, C replaces T. I haven't the foggiest if there's a good fundamental chemical reason for that or if it's purely down to the fact that you can make any random series of events look odd if you view them the "right" way.

Also, not entirely sure what the CR mutations are actually telling me. The HVR1+2 I'm ok with, but it's not so clear what more I'm learning.
