I didn't read all posts of this long thread but I had the curiosity to look at the raw data at :
Take DYS487 as an example. For eastern european samples there is a bimodal distribution of values : either DYS487=13 (n=9) or DYS487=15 (n=3) while in British isles there are no DYS487=15 and only one DYS487=15 in WE samples.
Such a distribution of values is a warning against too many conclusions that may be (far) too early.
