The exaggeration in these TMRCAs is mostly attributable to the DYS492 = 14
in R-L4.

Using Generations4, I first compared a single 67-marker R-L4 against five
67-marker R-L2 examples. The interclade age was 252 generations.

I then changed the DYS492 value in R-L4 from 14 to 12. The interclade age
was now 167 generations.

When I changed the DYS492 value in R-L4 to 13, the interclade age was 188
generations.
