Subject: [DNA] English genealogy--Waste in Yorkshire, Britton surname

An interesting thing about the Britton surname today is that the
second top region of their surname frequency occurrence is Donegal,
Ireland, the land of the Ui Neill. It’s reasonably represented there
at about 525 occurrences per million records.
And the highest occurrence today of the surname O’Neill at a
frequency of 5700 records per million is in Northern Ireland east of
Donegal.
The spelling Neill is a little lower at about 1500 occurrences in
Northern Ireland.
