Are there any verified J* members in the y-dna J Project?

Dear Argiedude,
There aren't any J* participants in the haplogroup J project at

that I am aware of.

Indeed, there are none -- at least among the project members who have had any substantial amount of testing. There are a few members -- at least seven -- who have only tested 12 markers and no SNPs have ever been done on them -- in theory one of them could belong to J*.

Needless to say, the J project would be highly appreciative of any donations to order upgrades for these kits.
