The number of mtSNPs in my file tonight is 19 less than it was when I last downloaded my mtDNA SNPs in Oct.  Perhaps they took Ann's advice (I love it when a company pays a consultant and can actually use the advice).

I have recommended that 23andMe simply abandon the effort to call some of these. Other SNPs are not so problematic, and can often give good haplogroup assignments.
