The problem with that attitude is the sad fact that FTDNA's email
system is terribly quirky. I have lost count of the notices from
FTDNA that never reached me, or reached me after a delay of six
months with a completely fresh time stamp, or reached me in
triplicate.
Also, bear in mind that this new system was put in place with no beta
test period. A related piece of functionality has apparently been
lost entirely in this process -- the requests to join a project by
folks who have already tested.
