So why doesn't FTDNA count them that way to begin with? I came on here
last summer about the GD 8 at 67 markers between my husband and his
match. Thomas Krahn said something about it being more like a GD 5, but
that's not how it was actually calculated. It would save us a lot of
time if they did the kind of calculations you are talking about before
posting the matches.
