Tim,

So "NeMo Adam" (Neanderthal/Modern Human Adam) might just be "the true
Y-DNA Adam" of Humans.

Full Chimp DNA has been sequenced, so in theory one of the smart people on
this list could extract the 67 marker data from the raw data on line. I am
not clever enough to do it myself... alas. There is also published data on
Chimp Y-DNA, but I don't have access to the particular journals where it was
published. Some on the list with access to university libraries may have
access. Also, donations have been received (close cousins DNA Project) to
test 67 markers of Chimp Y-DNA.... we just need some Chimp spit..... I
don't personally know any Chimps. Does anyone on this list know a friendly
zoo keeper?

John.
