The effect of unresolved SNPs in the Y-DNA haplotree, like that of missing/unknown SNPs, is to reduce the congruence of 5 with 4, and because so many actual branches are unknown, to have the effect that the Y-chromosome appears to be handed down unmodified for many generations, producing sizable terminal clades.
