I presume they used the same method they did for the autosomes: generate
artificial pedigrees (descendencies) with real genotype data from the
customer pool. Randomly recombine the segments for each succeeding
generation. Then select a threshold for different levels so that most (95%?)
of the shared segments can be traced back through the pedigree.
