I wonder about the frequency of these other flavors of recombination and
crossover in humans. If one or more do occur rather frequently, then it
would definitely affect the predicted percentages regarding whether one may
or may not get a non-recombined chromosome from a parent.

It is all certainly fraught. I think I'm about to do a double crossover
myself trying to get a grasp on all of it. But, it is interesting
nonetheless.

Alas, it is more complicated than this. There one strand, two strand, three
strand, and four strand cross-overs including double (or triple)
cross-overs:
