Of the ones I mentioned, only L316 (for N1*) is included in 23andMe's
collection of SNPs.

23andMe has found a few more SNPs in haplogroup N, all dubious:

- L58 in a single N1c1. He has ordered the L58 test from FTDNA, but one of
his nearest neighbors has already tested L58- , suggesting that it may be
"private" or almost so. Moreover, FTDNA's Ymap refers to L58 as
"recurrent," suggesting resistance to its placement in the official
haplotree.

- L248.1 in a single N1c1. Ymap refers to this occurrence as an "error,"
but it has now appeared in FTDNA's Advanced menu, which may suggest a
revised opinion.

- P189.2 in the same N1* who was L316+ . (P189.1 is in haplogroup E1b1a1.)
FTDNA does not offer P189 in its Advanced menu.

Can you or anyone tell us which of these particular SNPs are captured in the
23andMe test?
