Martin,

My grandmother, born in 1876 in St. Paul MN, was one of five siblings with
surname NELSON born in MN, children of Nels SVENSSON/Swanson, born 1839 in
Sweden. All their ancestors I"ve traced back 200 years used the patronymic
system.
