The kit number links in both the Member Information and the Received Lab
Results sections of my GAP pages seem to work okay in IE8. Do the kit number
links work for you in the Member Information section? I do notice that the
actual links are of the unsecured type (http) and get redirected to a secure
type (https).
Kit number link:
http://www.familytreedna.com/my-ftdna/?ekit=security_code
Gets redirected to:
https://www.familytreedna.com/my-ftdna/default.aspx?ekit=security_code
I'm not sure if this http-to-https redirecting is a recent change at FTDNA or
not and why they have it like this. Your IE security settings may be
blocking this type of redirect action. One thing you can try is to add
familytreedna.com to your Trusted Sites in IE. Go to Tools > Internet
Options > Click on Security Tab > Click on Trusted Sites zone icon. Then
click on the Sites button and add '*.familytreedna.com' (no quotes) to the
list. There are also Security level settings for the Trusted Sites zone that
you can customize for this zone. You might also want to clear your IE
browser cache in case there is some old stuff in there messing things up.

How did your GAP access get ruined for Microsoft IE? I still use IE for my
GAPs.
[[ I'd like to know the answer to this question, also, but FTDNA does not
repond to my queries about this. I have been using GAP for months to look
at new results in I haplogroup as they are reported.
Then two days ago GAP started sending me in a loop. From GAP homepage I
typically go to "new results" and then click "open" on one of the kit
numbers recently listed as having new results. I am sent back to GAP
homepage instead of to the kit number's page. KN ]]
