{{ Actually, kit 64529 with the new snps L802 and L803 is member of the
I1-Maverick clade.  This has a couple dozen very unique haplotypes (YCA =
21/21 and 464 = 12,14,16,16 and DYS462 = 13 for many) which show a TMRCA of
about 1300 years. - KN }}

After closely studying this group of individuals for over two years with Julie Frame Falk, I have my questions as to whether the cluster that you call the "I1-Maverick clade" is indeed a clade or, more simply put, a family - as the connection between these individuals seems to date back to the genealogical time frame. The fact that there are different surnames in this group does not necessarily mean that there is a pre-genealogical link, as the Frame family is in the center of the group and many of the non-Frame members have already established when NPE's occurred in their lines. My conservative guess would be that the MRCA for this whole group lived no earlier than the 1100's. My educated guess would be that this MRCA lived around the 1300's (700 years ago). A more accurate name for this group would probably be the "I1-Frame cluster" (or "the big, old Frame family").
