About the "assortive mating" question -- I just checked, and indeed,
my husband and I are both AG. Not a surprise to me. We are both very
happy to do solitary activities and stay around the house. Friendly,
but certainly not party animals or barflys. And I have long liked to
make the joke that I'm not anti-social, just asocial -- perfectly
happy to do my own thing. To me, being an outgoing GG type sounds
like it must be exhausting...

I would be interested in seeing a study of the occupations of AG and
AA folks. Betcha there's lots of fellow IT people, scientists, etc.
And conversely, probably lots of politicians with GG.

(Deletions or mutations in the OXTR genes have previously been
implicated in some cases of heritable OCD and autism, and the
IT-autism connection is practically a cliche at this point.)
