Hi Robyn,
Yes, autosomal DNA can distinguish between full cousins and half cousins. For first cousins, you would expect somewhere around 12.5 percent of shared DNA. For half first cousins you would expect somewhere around 6.25 percent. In the vast majority of cases, you will get a clear answer.
