I have been asked off-list if Leister Productions would convert a
Generations file to run on the latest version of Reunion.
The answer is yes, though I suspect they will only do this if you buy
the program directly from them (or you could ask your Reunion vendor if
they can do the conversion). But I subsequently found there were two
problems:
(a) Coloured text in Notes was changed to a different and barely
visible other colour, e.g. Black to very faint Grey and Maroon to
pale Yellow.
(b) Letters with accents were changed to different letters with other
accents.
Unfortunately I did not notice either of these until I had done
considerable work on the new file. So it was then too late to do
anything about it.
You should tell them that these problems had been found and ask if they
have fixed them and then check that they are OK on return of your
file. (I found and told them of some other problems which they fixed by
return.)
Obviously if you have not used either of these two features you will not
find those problems and you will have no trouble - unless you find
another problem.
