Thomas, Elizabeth, & Benjamin. Elizabeth Rutherford was
married to Samuel Glass, and was the dau. of Benjamin Rutherford.
Elizabeth probably had at least 2 brothers, Thomas & Benjamin. She had a
son named Benjamin Glass, and one named Thomas Rutherford Glass. There
was a Benjamin Rutherford who was married in the same county (Williamson
County, Tennessee) about the same time Elizabeth's son, Samuel Glass,
was married. Since families often migrated together, it is possible,
even probable, that Benjamin Rutherford was a cousin, or uncle, of
Samuel Fielding Glass. This family migrated from Ireland to VA in the
