MCALEVY/SMILEY/DUFFIELD--all came to America in the 1700'a. William McALEVY
fought in the American Revolution and the War of 1812. He was born in Ireland
in 1728. Married Margaret Harris in1758 . Had three shildren:William,Mary and
Margaret.
DUFFIELD,William born in Ireland abt.1773.Married Elizabeth Hasson abd died
1827 in Pennsylvania,USA. Had 10 children.
SMILEY,John was in the Juniata Valley,Pennsylvania USA as early as 1710.His son
Thomas was in that area around 1730.
Any info. that I can find on any of these people would be greatly
appresiated. I have no idea what part of Ireland they are from.
