Anastasia is one of the early christian saints, who I tjhink lived and died
in Rome in the first century AD. She is mentioned in the Mass "...........
Felicity, Perpetua, Agatha, Lucy, Agnes, Cecily, Anastasia, and all thy
saints." Most of these names are fairly common in catholic countries.
