Subject: Help with info on my BOYD from Dublin, please
Date: Sat, 25 Jul 1998 18:23:29 -0700

Hi Everyone!
I have an ancestor who was born in Dublin in March 1798 in Dublin
(City I Think)and was transported to Australia for 'Highway Treason' in
1822.
His name is Thomas BOYD and his parents are Robert BOYD, a
Blacksmith, and Ellen QUINN.
His family in Australia were Catholics.
He was convicted on the 16th July 1821 in Dublin and was a
Ploughman by trade.
I would love to find any info on his parents, siblings, ancestors
or descendants as I have found it most difficult to date to find very
much on Robert BOYD the father.
Are his parents buried in Dublin?
Cheers and many thanks, Neil from Australia.
