Fitzgerald/O'Connor marriage since they would have been in courting distance.

In studying the marriage records in "my" parish in County Fermanagh, it amazed
me how many people married the boy or girl "next door"--on the next farm or
townland, or the one next to that. Its amazing we aren't all squint-eyed with
6 toes, but I guess until the automobile was common, people did not go far
afield to find a mate.
