LANEY Joseph; IRL>PA,USA>SC,USA; 1740-1780

I am looking for any information regarding Joseph LANEY, born about 1715 in
Dungannon, Tyrone County, Ireland. He married a woman named Elizabeth (last
name unkn) in Tyrone County, Ireland. Joseph and his wife (and possibly
some children) emigrated to the USA between 1740-1800. I believe that he
was here prior to 1776, but I cannot document the date.

Any help would be appreciated. I have his line of descendants after he
arrived in the USA, but have absolutely nothing prior to then. Will be
happy to share information.
