I found my ggrandfather's marriage record from 1857, and when my wife and I
visited Ireland we looked for the church. It had long been replaced, but the
ordinance survey map for the area (available at all the local book stores)
showed the location of church ruins.

We waded through a sea of weeds that had grown over the graves surrounding
the fallen walls. The front wall was intact, and we took pictures of the
doorway that my ggrandfather and his bride walked through as man and wife
those many years ago. I hope that your search is as fruitful.
