The Missing Children Society of Canada is reminding parents to keep a kit in a safe place, with updated information on their children. That kit should contain at least one recent photo of your child, possibly a school photo. Several photos are better, taken from a variety of angles. Also in the kit, you should have a record your child's height, weight, eye colour, and any identifying marks or characteristics. Plus, something that contains your child's DNA might also prove to be of great value, like a lock of hair or baby teeth. The Missing Children Society of Canada says that you can easily assemble and maintain a kit yourself, and you don't need to buy anything.
