This is my second reply to you an how to check existing
easily available records. To find marriages dates from 1845
onwards ( Catholic ones from 1864 ) just go to an LDS -
Family History Centre and search the records yourself.
The civil index of marriages for 1946/1947 is on film #
0101580. The Co.of Roscommon had at that time, seven (7)
Registration Districts, namely; Atlone, Ballinasloe, Boyle,
Castlereagh, Roscommon and Strokestown. Hopefully you won't
find more than one marriage for the names you want.
