I am only familiar with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, but Boston should
be very much the same. Parishes have established boundaries. I think the
best place to start is with the next generation born in Boston if you have
that information. You should be able to discover childrens names and ages
and where they lived from census returns. Armed with those details you can
find the parish where the children were baptized. Chances are good that the
parent who converted would have done so either close to marriage or around
the birth of the first child. That entry would be in the Baptismal records
book. If one parent was still other than Catholic, there should be a
notation regarding that.
Happy hunting and Happy New Year!
