Is there anyone out there who can help me with the 'missing years' of my
gg-uncle Max NEUFELDT (1886 -1966). In April 1908 he left Germany to work
for the 'Deutsche Handels und Plantagen Gesellschaft' in Samoa. In August
1920 he returned, married in Hamburg, Germany, and rised a family. He
never liked to talk about his time overseas, but rumors say he was
married there and had children. It seems as if he became a soldier in WW1
and spent his last years in Samoa in an internation camp, but that again
are rumors.
