Wouldn't say "don't trust them" as much as "use them with caution." <g>

I searched the 1850 index to the Louisiana Census for a cousin and could not
find her family there. But a reel-by-reel search located them! And the same
held true for my Great Great Grandmother's family from Holland - long way
around, but if I hadn't done that, I would have assumed they were living
somewhere else and would have been still scratching my head! <g>
