We seem to have strayed into gun issues and whether or not our hair is grey.
Just a note on DAR lineage accuracy. It is true that you can't get into the
DAR using lineage previously submitted by a relative. About 1970 the DAR and
the Mayflower Society (and others) raised the bars and got professional about
accepting pedigrees whereas before sometimes the "proofs" were dubious at
best. Some of them were absolutely accurate and correct, too. But you still
have to go back and get all the proofs yourself to be accepted in most
lineage societies.
