Chris,
There has been No damage to my printer which has operated perfectly for
almost 2 years using this method. I'm pretty thorough with my tearing
off the perforations and then tearing the paper into single pieces.
However, I do appreciate the information. Just haven't seen the problem.
Maybe I mean YET? <G>

And yes, I realize the reason that the original query was speaking of
archival quality paper for a good reason. But given the thread, just
felt that people should know that there are other types of paper
available (including copier paper; typing paper; legal sized sheets for
using in landscape for a longer printout of a tree), and that Inkjet
specialized paper is not the only type useable in an inkjet printer.
