First of all, I'd like to say that I'm DEEPLY TOUCHED by your
concern for the feelings of the adoptee you came across. My family
has been deeply touched this last week, regarding my husband's
brother who was adopted out.

HE FOUND US!!!!

Anyway, I totally agree with everyone who says that you shouldn't
actively look for the adoptee in this case. You never know what she
was told as a child growing up. But is she is actively looking,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.......go to some of the adoption sites
www.adoption.com www.birthfamily.com www.cyndislist.com (look at the
adoption links) and post the information that you have found, and
WHERE you found it. (you may also go to the county USGENWEB or
ROOTSWEB sites and post the information there.) This may take a
'little' of your time and effort, but if she IS searching, it would
be a GODSEND to her!!

I hope this may give you a way to 'help' her without you feeling
that you have intruded on her(and also sidestep those 'legal issues'
of confronting her with the information.)

Wishing you the best of luck~

Lisa
