Cheryl, You are right, the photos are not going to be archivally
pure, unless they were developed very recently and with that goal in
mind and even then .... Photographs are very self-destructive in
and of themselves, and many factors go into making them so -- the
type of photo, the paper, the developing process, and so on. You
use a great word -- authentic, that is exactly why it is always
preferable to keep albums and scrapbooks together if at all
