We have in the family extracted copies of wills, attested as correct
at the time of extraction (probably to show title to land) against
copies in the probate office. If I cannot track down the probate
office, the guidelines indicate that the 200 year old copy is
unacceptable as a source, unless I deposit it somewhere public.
