I have a GEORGE family member whose life I am trying to retrace. Please
let me know if you have anything on him. This is all I have right now:

Jacob L. GEORGE (b. ca 1820s - d. ca 1887, Sonora, Tuolumne Co., CA).
Journeyed to California overland with a company from New Orleans, arriving
on April 20, 1849. Homesteaded near Lake Eleanor, Tuolumne Co., CA,
neighbor of Horace Gideon KIBBE and Herman WOLFE.
