Hoping one of you may have some information on my elusive Germany-to-
Michigan George family. Would certainly appreciate any clues you might
have!

Seeking information on MARTIN GEORGE b. c1809 Hesse-Darmstadt,
emmigrated to Wayne County MI c1833; married Epalonia (Abby) b.
Prussia; children: Mary, Adam, Henry M. (deaf), Catharine, Elizabeth,
Cailen, John.

Looking for marriage record, date/place of death, date of immgration,
ship, and husband & wife's parents/siblings.

What I have to work with:
1. Land records showing MI land ownership in 1837
2. Brief mention of George family listed among first members in first
Michigan Lutheran congregation; pastor: Schmid (From book pertaining to
Germans in Michigan.)
