Hi everybody,
I just wanted to tell everyone I found my GG-grandfather John GEORGE. He
was with the 12th Ky Inf,Co G, and died on the
"Atlanta Campaign" on Aug 18,1864.

He is buried at Marietta,Ga.

He mustered out from Camp Clio, in Pulaski Co.,Ky in 1861 for three years.
He re-enlisted in Jan 1864.

I am now going to concentrate on finding John's parents.
I have narrowed down the possibilities somewhat since I last posted.

Here is the prime suspect <g>

1850 Russell County,Ky
John George age 60 born in Va.
Mary " age 65 born in Va
Elizabeth age 38 born in Ky (that puts them in Ky by about 1812)
Floren age 22(he either leaves or dies, not on census anymore)
Green age 15
