This is my first contact with the George list. My fourth gt grandmother was Martha Ann (called Ann) George b. 18 Mar 1735 in Middlesex Co., VA. She died and was buried at Gaines Chapel, Donalds, S.C. She was married to Rev. Henry Pendleton Gaines, a Methodist minister. I only know her parents were Richard and Elizabeth Mayo George of VA. Does anyone have more info on this family for me?

My daughter recently married a music professor, Dr. David George from TN. I hope to help him find his tree.
