I urge everyone to contact Senators and Congressmen; I sent the following to
both. This is not a roomer this happen to my husband and myself. While I
can not say what other Airlines did I can tell you what Southwest did.

I have to comment on how Military Persons were treated by Southwest Airlines
with respect to giving airlines funding. Southwest Airlines DID NOT give
military persons priority on any flights even though they were aware of
recalls. Therefore I do not feel they should receive any funds. If
Southwest cannot stand behind those that protect us then we should not stand
be hind them. Also Southwest has enjoyed MUCH PROFIT from the lack of
security in the past and should have moneys to do this job. I stand behind
our men and women who are serving. My husband Robert Sandling “RECALLED”
United States Air Force while we were in Florida on business, it took 18
hours to return to Phoenix. I STRONGLY URGE OUR GOVERNMENT TO LOOK AFTER
THE FAMILIES OF THESE SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN AS MANY WILL NEED OUR HELP (we
all know the pay check is very small for our military enlisted) AND NOT DUMP
MONEY INTO THE AIRLINES.
