Good evening, all. My George line also hails from PA--Butler and I think
Armstrong counties. I don't know very much about them. My gggrandfather
was a Lewis George, b. 1825 married to a Elizabeth Ann (Unknown), b. 1832.
The known children include Rebecca Jane, John Sylvester, David, Elvira, and
Almeda. My ggrandfather was a John Sylvester George, b. 1/5/1857, died
3/20/1915. He was married to Margaret Ellen Bowser, b. 3/27/1877, died
November 22, 1955. They had 7 children, Joseph Clarence, Lewis, Anna Jane
Amelda(my grandmother), John, Wade Martin, Margaret Ellen, and Charles
Alfonso.

I know John and Margaret were living in Butler County during the 1900
census, but have been told the family was originally from Armstrong County,
as were most of my other branches. Other branches include: Earley/Early,
McElravy, Hopper, Gould, Spiker, Bowser/Bausser, Hackbarth.
